Bartow - Edward "Bubba" R. Jones, age 80, passed away on May 21, 2026, at Winter Haven Hospital. He was born on June 17, 1945, in Bartow, FL. He was the Owner of Edward Jones Construction and Aluminum. He was a member of US Yoshukai Martial Arts. He enjoyed helping people, watching Florida Gators football and being a thrill seeker. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Love and brothers Glenn Jones and Ronald Jones. He is survived by his daughters Rae Mathis (Rico) of Bartow & Donna Cook (Paul) of Winter Haven, son Jay Escue of Georgetown, GA, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and extended family. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Turning Point Worship Center, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Turning Point Worship Center. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
