Edward Mehaffey Griffin, age 71, passed away from cancer Sunday, December 29, 2013 at his home in Tampa. Born October 24, 1942 in Bartow, he was the son of the late James Harrison and Lucy Conner Griffin. Mr. Griffin had been a resident of Tampa since 1990. He is survived by two brothers; James H. Griffin, Jr. (Carolyn) of Bartow and Harry C. Griffin (Betty) of Bartow. Graveside services for Mr. Griffin will be Thursday. January 2nd at 2:00pm at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
