Edith E. Spence, 70, of Wauchula, FL, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Edith was born July 20, 1939 in Tasville, TN. She worked for Peace River Packing in Fort Meade many years ago and was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, John R. Spence of Fort Meade, FL. Sister, Kathy Tate and Husband Otis of Lakeland, FL. Brother, Billy Mayfield of Lakeland, FL and Sister-N-Law, Gerelene Carpenter of Fort Meade, FL. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, March 5, 2010.
