Edith Pridgen

Edith Pridgen, 84, died Friday March 9, 2007 at her residence in Highland City. Born in Coffee County, GA on December 14, 1922, Edith has been a local resident for the past 66 years. Mrs. Pridgen was a member of Sonrise Assembly of God in Highland City. Mrs. Pridgen is preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Pridgen. She is survived by two sons; Albert K. Pridgen of Lakeland and Alfred Pridgen of Highland City, one brother; C.F. Merritt of Highland City, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday March 13, 2007 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Services for Mrs. Pridgen will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Burial Park.
