Edgar Morrison

Edgar Morrison, age 64, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 in Winter Haven. Born October 23, 1953 in Lake Wales, he was the son of the late Julius Ray and Mary (Taylor) Morrison Hendry. Edgar was a Baptist and worked as a Painting Contractor for many years. Mr. Morrison is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, Darlene Morrison of Auburndale, his son Lucas Welch (Rebekah) of Bartow, his siblings: Betty J. Edmund of Bartow, Sidney L. King (Lanny) of Bartow, Billy Morrison (Edie) of Lakeland, Ronnie Morrison of Winter Haven, and Mike Morrison (Megan) of Pittsburgh, PA. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Rachel Welch, Luke Welch, Levi Welch and several nieces and nephews. The family receive friends on Friday, February 2nd from 1pm to 2pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
