Ed Waters

Bartow- E. H. "Ed" Waters, Jr., 79, died Friday, Oct 5, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of respiratory failure . A native of St. Petersburg, FL, Mr. Waters, was a resident of Bartow for over 50 yrs, moving from Alabama. Formerly with IMC Phosphate for over 17 yrs, Mr Waters owned and managed Precisioneering Machine Works in Bartow for 30 ys. He was a former member of the Bartow Lions Club. He is preceeded in death by his wife of 30 yrs, Mary E. Waters. He is survived by three daughters: Patricia W. MacDonald of Summerdale, Ala; Mikie W. Patterson of Winter Haven; Bobbie W. Peterson of Hazelhurst, GA. 5 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandchild. Family will receive friends Tues, Oct 9, 6-8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St, Bartow.
