Earl D. Cochran

Earl D. Cochran, age 62, of Bartow, died Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Shands Hospital at Lake Shore in Lake City, Fla. Born November 10, 1945 in Wauchula, FL. Mr. Cochran was a longtime Bartow resident. Mr. Cochran was a utility inspector for the Polk County Board of Commissioners for many years. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Mulberry; a former member of the Bartow Jaycees and active in Dixie Youth Baseball and Football. He is survived by his wife: Bobbie J. Cochran of Bartow; daughter: Tami L Danforth of Bartow; son: Charles E Cochran of Lakeland; 4 sisters: Doris Bass of Leesburg; Irene Einsten of Leesburg; Faye Garcia of Homeland; Betty Osteen of Bartow; Lucy Hartwein of Ft Myers. 3 brothers: Jack Brooks of Dunellen; Herman Brooks of Lakeland; Harold Brooks of Winter Haven. 5 Grandchildren & 3 Great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 16, 2008, 6-8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral Services will be held Friday, 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
