Dwight W. "Jack" Mccafferty

Dwight W. "Jack" McCafferty, age 71, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Bartow. Born August 19, 1951 in Lawrence County, TN, he was the son of the late Charlie Leo McCafferty and Dovie Grace (McLellan) McCafferty. Jack was an Auto Mechanic for many years. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings. He is survived by his children: James McCafferty (Casey) of Wauchula, William Michael McCafferty (Lisa) of Avon Park, Cathy Runnels (Michael) of Mobile, AL, his sisters: Christeen Gibson of Bowling Green and Dean Wilbourn of Elkmont, AL. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Aeiral, J.J., Dewhite, Mary and Ruthie. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 19th from 1pm to 2pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
