Dr. Juan Manuel Aranda

Lakeland - Dr. Juan Manuel Aranda, age 78, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 3, 1942 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Juan & Eva Aranda. He was Catholic. He was a Major in the US Army. Dr. Aranda was a Cardiologist for 42 years. He was a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Puerto Rico Society of Cardiology. He was preceded in death by his brother Ivan Aranda. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Carmen Aranda, children Juan Aranda & wife Bonnie, Robert Aranda & wife Suzanne, Maria Aranda & husband Chris, Carmen Longnecker & husband Carl, Liza Aranda & husband Ray, David Aranda & wife Ginnie and Michael Aranda & wife Laura, grandchildren Jennifer, Eva, Sarah, Robert, Allie, Mackenzie, Jack, Maya, Emma, Grace, Ben, Andrew, Maddie, Josh, Nathan, Anna, Elise, Nolan, Cristy and Camila, sister Yelly Cowley and daughter-in-law Mayra Cordero. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL. Interment will be held at Lakeland Memorial Gardens in Lakeland, FL.
