Doug Richardson

James Douglas "Doug" Richardson, age 53, passed away from heart failure on July 4, 2012 at his home in Mulberry. Mr. Richardson was born on March 13, 1959. He graduated from Bartow High School in 1977 and was employed by K.T. Pharmacy while he was in school. He was an Air Force Veteran. He then worked as a Sales Representative for several companies including Mineco, Stanley Tools, and the Denanher Tool Group. He is preceded in death by his brother Scott Richardson. He is survived by a loving family that includes his children; Andrew Richardson of Lakeland, McKenzie Richardson of Lakeland, his parents; Ivan and Glenda Richardson of Bartow, his former wife Teri Richardson of Lakeland, two sisters; Nancy Davis of Lakeland and Patricia Billings (Charles) of Tallahassee. He also leaves behind his niece and nephews; Sarah Davis, Scott Billings and Phillip Billings. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street in Bartow where the family will receive friends Sunday, July 8th from 1PM to 2PM . Memorial services will follow at 2:00PM at the funeral home chapel.
