Dorthy H. Bryan

Dorthy H. Bryan, 70, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 from her battle with cancer. She was born February 22, 1940 in Leesburg, FL. She was the Director of Medical Records for the Peace River Center. Mrs. Bryan also worked as a Lunchroom Lady for Polk County Schools, she was the Chaplin Secretary for the Bartow Rohr Home and a Waitress at John's Resturant. She is survived by her Two Daughters; Karen & husband Ronnie Kendrick of Bartow and Tina & husband Todd McGuire of Highland City. Two Sons; Martin T. & wife Laurie Bryan and John P. & wife Dorcus Bryan both of Bartow. Two Sisters; Betty Lewis of Bartow and Martha Taylor of Gainesville, GA. One Brother; Willie Joe Baker of Auburndale. Six Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, FL, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday, August 2, 2010.
