Dorothy M. Lucius

Dorothy M. Lucius, 72, died Monday, March 16, 2009, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born January 9, 1937 in Coffee Springs, AL, Mrs. Lucius has been a resident of Bartow since the early 1950's, moving from Alabama. Mrs. Lucius was a secretary for the Peace River Center in Bartow for several years. She was a member of the Blessed Assurance Temple, Bartow. She is survived by her sons: Joseph & wife Irene Lucius of Lake Alfred, Mark & wife Ida Lucius, Marty & wife Sherri Lucius all of Bartow, Maury Lucius of Fort Meade; 7 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, 2009, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 am at the Blessed Assurance Temple, 1245 McAdoo Ave, Bartow. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
