Dorothy Jenay "Nay" Hartzog

Bartow- Dorothy Jenay Hartzog, age 45, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 at her home in Bartow. Born February 28, 1975 in Bartow, she was the daughter of James William Edwards and Carole Waverly Black-Edwards. Mrs. Hartzog was a homemaker. She was a mother, a Nana, and a friend. Jenay is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Waverly Powers, Stephanie Walker, and Kali Walker all of Bartow, her granddaughter Baylee and her longtime companion Keith Harrell of Bartow. She also leaves behind her siblings: Bradley Edwards of Lakeland, Jimmy Edwards of Bartow, Dianna Edwards of Bartow, Jackie Campbell of Union, MS, and Perry Powell of Lakeland including many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, her mother and her brother and sister Roger and Olivia "Libby" Edwards. Jenay was a strong loving woman, she loved with all she had and she never gave up. She enjoyed speck fishing, spending time with family and friends, and going to the casino just to have a good time. To know her is to love her. She will forever be loved and missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.
