Dorothy Ann Fuqua

Dorothy "Dot" Fuqua 64 passed away Oct. 26, 2009 at the Winter Haven Hospital from Heart Failure. A native of Cordele, GA she was a lifelong resident of the Bartow area. Dot was of the Baptist faith and worked as a nurses aid at Rohr Home in Bartow. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and dominos. A loving wife, mother and grandmother she will be missed. She is survived by her husband Lamar T. Fuqua of Bartow; son Thomas "Tom" L. Fuquay of Bartow; daughter Sherry Rollins and husband Carl of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren Joshua B. Williams and wife Jessica of Bartow and Krystal "Nicki" Baker and husband Jody of Bartow; one great grandchild Jayden Williams of Bartow. A visitation will be held Thursday Oct. 29, 2009 from 6-8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow and a Graveside service will follow at Gandy Cemetery on Friday at 10am.
