Doris Ann Every

Mrs. Doris Ann "Dot" Every, 88, of Fort Meade, FL, died Sunday, August 9, 2009, from cancer. Mrs. Every was born December 15, 1920 in Pavo, GA. Mrs. Every has lived in Fort Meade most of her life moving from Pavo, Georgia in 1935. She was a member of First Church of God of Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alec Every. She is survived by her Daughter, Linda and husband Joesph Peterson of Fort Meade. Two Sons, Robert and wife Linda Every of Umatilla, FL and Gene M. Every of Fort Meade. One Brother, Hubert "Pete" McCrea of Tampa, FL. Seven Grandchildren; Mark Every, Alec Every and Patricia Ogborn all of Fort Meade, Terry Smith of Mooresboro, NC, Bobby Every, Jimmy Every both of Tampa and Sharon Every of Leesburg. Nine Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandchild. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Wednsday, Aug 12, 2009 at McLean Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at First Church of God, 215 S. Perry Ave, Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade. Contributions may be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
