Mrs. Dora Lee Skipper, 67, of Frostproof, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Fla. Born June 4, 1940 in Frostproof, Mrs. Skipper was a former resident of Bartow living the past four years in Frostproof She was employed by ComCar Industries. She was formerly with the Polk County Clerk of the Circuit Court. She is preceded in death by her husband: Hershel F. "Skip" Skipper. She is survived by her 2 sons: James & wife Rachel Mercer of Frostproof; Daniel & wife Danielle Mercer of Winter Haven; daughter: Rebecca & Husband Ronald Mosher of Lakeland; brother: Lewis & wife Nancy Rhoden of Frostproof; sister: Dorothy Peacock of Winter Haven; sister; Doris & husband Irvin Moore of Arcadia; sister-in-law; Ruth Rhoden of Winter Haven; 12 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
