Bartow - Donna Rogers, age 88, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Rohr Nursing Home in Bartow. Born March 30, 1926 in Detroit, MI, Mrs. Rogers was a longtime resident of the area. She was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church of Bartow. She was preceded in death by her husband: Woodrow W. Rogers and her son: Woodrow Rogers; a daughter: Lucile Camp, Bartow; three sons: Richard Rogers and wife Alicia, Mulberry; Donald Rogers, Tallahassee and Thomas Rogers and wife Martha, Burnsville, MS;
brother: Lonnie Prince and wife Rampon, Lanark Village, FL; two sisters: Mildred Gregory, Binghamton, NY and Bernice Stevens, Lanark Village; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, July 25, 2014 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Main Street Baptist Church, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM at the church. Interment will be held at Fitzgerald Cemetery, Lakeland.
