Bartow - Donis "Louise" Flatt, age 89, passed away March 15, 2024, at her Residence in Bartow . She was born on September 24, 1934, in Thomasville, GA. She was a Citrus Worker for Ben Hill Griffin Inc. She enjoyed fishing, picking & canning peas, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband’s Vernon "Gilbert" Flatt & Oather Aycock, son Johnny Aycock, sister Vera Mae Pitts & Frances Whitfield and brothers Frankie Griffin & Lon Griffin. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughters Jenny Wiggins (Ralph) of Bartow & Dian Miller (Ray) of Lakeland, sons Michael Aycock (Melissa) of Bartow & Joe Aycock of Bartow, stepson Greg Flatt (Vicki) of Lakeland, 22 grandchildren , 39 great grandchildren . 4 great great grandchildren, brother Billy Griffin of GA and many nieces and nephews .Family will receive friends Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Homeland Cemetery, Homeland.
