Mr. Dick Fackender, age 68, of Winter Haven, FL, died Friday, June 13, 2008, at Winter Haven Hospital. He was born September 7, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Fackender was a Businessman, he started Dick's Paint & Body Shop in 1970. He also started Florida Truck & Trailer Co. and he was a citrus owner. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Barbara Fackender of Winter Haven, FL Two Daughters, Stacie & Jonathan Lott of Bartow, FL and Stephanie & Kevin Murphy of Sarasota, FL. Four Sons, Gary & Sandra Fackender of Lake Wales, FL, Ronnie & Betty Fackender of Babson Park, FL, Michael Fackender of Spring Hill, FL and Robbie & Jenny Fackender of Lake Wales, FL. One Brother, Dwight Fackender of Michigan Eight Grandchildren, Tyson Smith, Jeremy Fackender, Jessica Fackender, Jason Fackender, Austin Fackender, Morgan Lott, Bryson Fackender, and Jack Murphy. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Funeral service will be at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 18, 2008 . Interment will be at Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
