Dewitt H. Tyre

Mr. Dewitt H. Tyre, age 89 died July 29, 2009 at his home in Bartow. Born January 16, 1920 in Appling County, GA , Mr. Tyre was a longtime resident of Bartow. Mr. Tyre was the owner of Tyre Equipment of Bartow and also was a member of Lake Garfield Baptist Church. Mr. Tyre was an Army Veteran of WWII. He is survived by his son Dwight Tyre and wife Theresa of Bartow, step son William Webb of Lake Wales, and step daughter Norma Jean Bright of Mount Dora. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Graveside services for Mr. Tyre will be held Wednesday, August 5th at 10:00am at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
