Dewey R. Sulfridge

Dewey R. Sulfridge, 74, of Winter Haven, died Friday, May 15, 2009, at Winter Haven Hospital. Born August 12, 1934 in Wyse VA, Mr. Sulfridge was a longtime Polk County resident, moving from Ohio. He was a forklift operator for OrangeCo Citrus in Bartow for several years. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Amy Burchett. He is survived by his wife: Annie B. Sulfridge of Winter Haven; three sons: George Sulfridge of Winter Haven; Rick Sulfridge of Devine, TX & Ed Sulfridge of Bartow; two daughters: Alvida "Bones" Owens of Winter Haven & Debra Zapata of Beeville, TX; sister: Nola Gardner of Hicksville, OH; 13 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren.
