Devon Sellers

Devon Sellers, 59, of Bartow, FL, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009, from heart failure. He was born September 21, 1949 in Jackson, Mississippi. He moved to Bartow from Lakeland in 1978. Devon was a partner of his company SMCI Inc. in Lakeland. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bartow. He is survived by his wife Hazel Sellers of Bartow. Two Daughters; Elizabeth & her husband Ray Gibbs of Bartow and Rebecca & her husband Phil Lieberher of Bradenton. Son, Kelly Sellers & his companion Keisha Hardy of Bartow. Brother, Hayden Sellers of Phoenix, AZ. His six grandchildren whom he loved dearly Tyler, Mackenzie, Nicky, Madison, Matthew, and Gracie. Niece Jessie Graham and two nephews Scott & Todd Sellers. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, August 28, 2009 . Funeral service will be at First Presbyterian Church of Bartow at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 29, 2009, Rev. James B. Hatch officiating. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
