Denise Renee Morgan

Denise Renee Morgan, age 63, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, in Lakeland. Born September 17, 1959, in Bartow, she was the daughter of the late Randy Morgan and Dorothy Ann Harris Hicks. Renee worked for many years in the healthcare industry as an Orthopedic Nurse. Later, she went on to work at Publix in Bartow as a Cashier. Renee was a gifted artist who would paint Christmas scenes on many Bartow business shop windows. Her faith and family were the most important things to her, and she would always lend a helping hand or ear to those in need. She was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church in Bartow. Renee is survived by her partner, Ellen Garnett, Aunt Betty O’Cain, Daughter Morgan Craft, and her Brother Keith Hicks. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 11:00am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
