Denise Tharp Howarth

Denise Tharp Howarth, 53, died Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in Lakeland, FL. Born May 14, 1954 in Bartow, FL, she was the daughter of the late Heston Willard and Mertie Mae Tharp. Mrs. Howarth had been residing in Oxford, NC for the past 18 years. She worked as a nurse for over 20 years. She is survived by a family that includes her husband of 34 years, Robert Howarth Sr., two sons; Robert Howarth, Jr. and Cory Michael Howarth all of Oxford, NC. She also leaves behind two sisters; Anne Towles (Larry) of Lakeland, Glenda Downing (William) of Dalton, GA. , a niece, Angie Tharp of Whittier, NC, along with three grandchildren; Dustin Scott Howarth, Sarah Emily Howarth, and Kyrah Jade Howarth. Services for Mrs. Howarth will be Friday, September 21, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street Bartow, FL.
