Fort Meade - Dempsey C. Rowell, 80, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at his residence in Fort Meade. He was born December 4, 1939 in Fort Meade, FL. He was a Maintenence Supervisor for Estech Inc. He was a member of Lake Buffum Baptist Church, where he served as a Trustee. He was preceded in death by his parents; Loys & Lillian Rowell and brother; Rouie Rowell. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Barbara Rowell of Fort Meade, three daughters; Lynn Woods & husband Bubba of Fort Meade, Gail Jackson & husband Ray of Fort Meade, Debbie R. Beeson of Bartow and son; Wayne Rowell & wife Dawn of Trinity, NC, nine grandchildren; Kasi Carroll & husband Steven, Brandi Richerson & husband Jeremy, Jeremy Woods, Aaron Rowell, Travis Jackson, Cory Beeson, Alexis Rowell, Sonya Woods, Sarah Woods and three great grandchildren; Jake Carroll, Marleigh Carroll and Jesse Richerson. Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 5 to 6 pm at McLean Funeral Home.
