Delores Klepper Sheldon

Delores Klepper Sheldon, age 82, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in Columbus, GA. Born April 9, 1928 in Lakemore, OH, she was the daughter of William and Minnie (Rapier) Klepper. Mrs. Sheldon was a longtime area resident and had recently moved to Midland, GA. Mrs. Sheldon was a Southern Baptist and had worked for Wendy's Restaurant as well as McDonald's Restaurant in Bartow, Winter Haven, and Lakeland. Mrs. Sheldon is survived her husband Eugene Sheldon of Midland, GA, a son Pete Sheldon of Winter Haven, a daughter Shirley Whitton also of Midland, GA, three sisters; Gladys Nicolard of Canal Fulton, OH, Janet Steele of Akron, OH, and Berniece Bittenger of New Smyrna Beach. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow where the family will receive friends Friday, July 23rd from 10am to 11am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
