Deborah Lynn Firment

Deborah Lynn Firment, age 50, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, in Lake Alfred. Born June 5, 1971, in Lakeland, she was the daughter of Ronald Eugene Drake and Betty Jean (Hughson) Drake of Bartow. She graduated from Bartow High School, where she was the Outstanding Student in the D.C.T. Program her senior year. Debbie was also a member of the Main Street Baptist Church in Bartow. She is also survived by her husband, Jonathan Lamont Firment of Lake Alfred, her son, Jeremy Raymond Morgan of Bartow, her siblings: Jean Marie McBroom (Samuel) of Bartow, John Paul Drake of Seffner and Daniel Alan Drake (Jessica) of Lakeland, She also leaves behind her step daughter, Elizabeth Ashley Firment-Christie of Daphne, AL, her grandson, Giovanni Eli Ziegler and her godson, Jacob Daniel Morgan along with her nieces: Catie McBroom, Amelia Drake and her nephews: Zachary McBroom and Nathan Drake. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1st from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, March 2nd at 10:00am at the funeral home chapel.
