Deborah "Debbie" Daniel Smith

Deborah “Debbie” Daniel Smith passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Debbie was a beloved wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Debbie was a woman who deeply loved her family. Her greatest joy came from the people she loved and the memories they created together. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the relationships she treasured, and the special place she held within her family.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Russell Smith; her son, Marvin Johnson III and his wife, Eryn; and her stepchildren, Sonya Wooten, Rusty Smith, and Christina Clark. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, who were an important and cherished part of her life.

She is also survived by her brother, Ronnie McCoy of Auburndale, Florida; her sister, Bobbi Stieff, and brother-in-law, David Stieff, of Auburndale; her sister-in-law, Julie Daniel of upstate New York; her nephew, Drew Daniel of upstate New York; her nieces, Erica Owens and Amber Owens of Lakeland, Florida; her great-niece, Makynzee Lewis of Lakeland; and her aunt and uncle, Janie and Bruce Kirby of Lakeland.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Frankie Jo Blanton Beckham; her biological father, Walter Travis Daniel; and her brother, Donald Frank “Donkey” Daniel.

Debbie’s passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, but the love she shared and the memories she created will continue through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
