David Wayne Young

David Wayne Young, age 60, passed away from respiratory failure. Monday, August 20, 2012 in Bartow. Born May 3, 1952 in Bartow, Mr. Young was the son of the late David E. Young and Norma Young. Mr. Young was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as an heavy equipment operator for International Market World in Auburndale for 25 years. Mr. Young is survived by a son, Matthew Young of Auburndale, daughter, Heather Young of Winter Haven, mother, Norma Young of Bartow, three sisters; Bonnie Byrd (Benny) of Alturas, Rosemary Golden (Mike) of Polk City, Susan Blackner (Raymond) of Mulberry, and two brothers; Jimmy Young (Theresa) of Bartow, and Michael Young (Ruby) of Heath, Ark. He also leaves behind three grandchildren; Christopher, E.J., and Kayleigh. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow where the family will receive friends Wednesday, August 22nd from 6PM to 8PM.
