Bartow - David W. Burke, age 81, passed away on September 22, 2026, at his residence in Bartow. He was born on August 30, 1945, in Sumner, OH. He worked as a Supervisor in the phosphate industry. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his brother Tim Burke. He is survived by his loving wife of 62½ years, Linda Burke of Bartow; daughter, Deborah Ezell (Tony) of Lakeland; son, Joe Burke of Peru, Indiana; brothers, James Burke (Connie) of Grangeville, Idaho, Wayne Burke (Jennifer) of Lake Wales, and Roger Burke (Debbie) of Meridian, Mississippi; sister, Judy Dyer of Washington; grandchildren, Jarred, Jordan, Jaggar, Mandy, and Nick; and great-grandchildren, Isabella and Caleb.
