David S. Bowen

David S. Bowen 62 of of Kingsport, TN died on July 1, 2010 at the Holston Valley Medical Center from cancer. Born Feb 10, 1948 in Auburn, NY, he lived in Auburndale and Lake Alfred for 20 years before moving to Kingsport, TN 5 years ago. David was a truck driver, working for numerous companies, including Clay Hyder Trucking, Scotty's Hardware and Gray Truck Lines. He is survived by two sons; David S. Bowen II of Lake Wales & Douglas G. Bowen of Kingsport, TN; one sister; Shirley Bowen of Rochester, NY. two brothers; Doug Bowen of Houston, TX; Gerald Bowen of Moravia, NY. three grandchildren; Kaley Bowen of Kingsport, TN, Blair & Dylan Bowen both of Lake Wales. Family will receive friends Tuesday July 6, from 10-11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main St Bartow, FL. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 am in Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake Alfred, FL. Memorials may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401
