David Bergdoll

Lakeland - David Bergdoll, age 76, passed away July 9, 2024, at Lakeland Regional Health and Medical Center. He was born on December 28, 1947, in Charlottesville, VA. He was a proud Eagle Scout and United Air Force Veteran. He was a prosecutor for State Attorney Jerry Hill and a Lawyer for the Polk County Sheriff's Office. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bartow, where he loved spending time with his church family and being involved with the First Methodist School. He enjoyed traveling, watching Tampa Bay Buccaneers & Florida Gator football and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Janet Susan Bergdoll of Lakeland, daughter Amanda Bergdoll of Haines City, brother-in-law Ed Heidel, Jr. (Bobbie) of Hixson, TN, sister-in-law Kathy Alderman (Patrick) and many cousins. Family will receive friends Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Bartow. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Bartow. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
