David W. Barwick

David W. Barwick, 51, of Bartow, died Friday, April 3, 2009, at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Born August 12, 1957 in Arcadia, FL, Mr. Barwick has been a longtime resident of the area. He was employed with the City of Bartow for several years. He is survived by two sons: Sidney Barwick & Dustin Barwick both of Bartow; four daughters: Ashley Parker; Yolanda Britt; & Crystal Britt all of Bartow; Tara Barwick of Georgia; father: Harold Barwick of La Belle, FL; mother: Evelyn Vaughn of Fort Meade; three sisters: Joann Lowman of Bartow; Linda Counts of West Lake Wales; Janet Parkus of Arkansas; two brothers: Freddie Barwick of Sweetwater, TN & Bubba Vaughn of Fort Meade. 17 grandchildren: Billy, David, Dylan, Brooke, Aaron, Claudia, Danielle, Peyton, Austin, Joy, Justin, Logan, Madison, Brian, Ariel, Charles, Toby & 2 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends, Friday, April 10, 2009, 1-2 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Services will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home.
