Darvin "Butch" Baisden

Darvin "Butch" Baisden, age 81, passed away peacefully at home Monday, August 25, 2025. He was born July 14, 1944 in Mobile, AL to Roscoe & Leola Baisden but lived his whole life in Highland City. Butch started working at the Highland City Feed Mill, then was a Truck driver for Quickrete and later was the Owner of a local video store before retiring. He loved to spend his leisure time hunting and fishing with family and friends. He also enjoyed some traveling but preferred spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Laverl Baisden. He is survived by his wife Janet Baisden of Highland City, daughters Tyleia Robinson & husband Joe of Bartow and Joyce Sides of Lakeland, brother Johnnie Baisden of Highland City, two grandsons Joseph "Joey" L Robinson, Jr. of Highland City and Shane Robinson & wife Bevin of Lakeland, great granddaughter Skylar Robinson and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
