Darrell R. Pittman

Bowling Green - Darrell R. Pittman, age 67, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at Florida Hospital in Tampa. Born April 6, 1947 in Bowling Green, FL, Mr. Pittman was a lifelong resident of the area and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a lab analyst in the phophate industry for many years. Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife of 45 years: June Pittman of Bowling Green; two sons: Scott Pittman (Kim) of Lakeland and Mark Pittman (Melissa) of Bartow; a step daughter; Kim McAllister (Dean) of Lakeland; a brother: David Pittman (Peggy) of Lakeland; a sister: Marjorie Coker (Ronald) of Wauchula and ten grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, February 27th from 6pm to 8pm at McLean Funeral Home, Fort Meade. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society
