Mr. Danny R. Sturgill, age 53, of Bartow, FL, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008, in Lakeland, FL. A Native of Bartow born July 25, 1955, Mr. Sturgill was employed by City Of Bartow and was a water plant operator. Danny was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his one son, Mr. Daniel Ray Sturgill of Bartow, FL. Two Sisters, Mrs. Martha Geisendorfer of Lakeland, FL and Lawana Richardson of Alturas, FL. One Brother, Dennis Sturgill of Alturas, FL. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, FL, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, November 30, 2008. Funeral service will be at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, December 1, 2008 . Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
