Daniel S. Purzycki

Daniel S. Purzycki, 79 of Lakeland, FL, passed away September 14, 2023 at Good Sheperd Hospice of Lakeland. Born on March 17, 1944, in Dunkirk, NY, Dan always loved celebrating his birthday on St. Patrick’s Day with friends and family. Daniel worked for Eastman Kodak, retiring February 2002, and Sears Roebuck, retiring in the early 1990’s. He was incredibly involved in American Legion, Post #468 of Rochester as a past member and officer. He also enjoyed fishing, dining out, and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Victoria Purzycki, brother James J. Purzycki and infant sister Patricia Ann Purzycki. Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Delores A. Purzycki, and beloved buddy Scooter-bug of Lakeland, daughter Patricia Worthy, and granddaughter, Lauren Marie Worthy both of Rochester, extended family of eight grandchildren and one great-grandson, and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 19, 2003 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow, with Interment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
