Dallas T. Lewis

Dallas T. "Tony" Lewis died Tuesday, December 25th, at his home, of heart failure. He was born on May 25, 1927 in Opp , Alabama and was a resident of Polk County for 62 years. Mr. Lewis retired as Service Manager from Florida Equipment and Service. He was an Army Veteran and a member of Willow Oak Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Louise Lewis, his children, Dallas Clifford Lewis of Melbourne Beach, FL, Gayleene Gilbreath (Bob) of Frostproof, FL, Wayne Lewis (Cindy) of Bartow, FL, Sara Peters (Sammy) of Mulberry, FL, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two brothers, Joel C. Lewis of Pensacola, FL, Carl J. "Jr." Lewis of Lake Wales, FL, and one sister Mary Holland of Polk City, FL. Visitation will be Friday, December 28th from 5PM - 8PM, at Willow Oak Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 29th at 2:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Willow Oak Cemetery.
