Dalis P. Robinson

Dalis P. Robinson, 81, of Bartow, died Monday, February 22, 2010, at Life Care Center Of Winter Haven. Born October 4, 1928 in Burnsville, NC, Mr. Robinson has been a resident of the Bartow area over 55 years, moving from North Carolina. Mr. Robinson was a grove caretaker and attended the Bethany Freewill Baptist Church of Eaton Park. He is preceded in death by his first wife: Pearl Robinson; 2 sons: Dennis & David Robinson; 2 daughters: Jewell Hyatt & Lisa Robinson. He is survived by his wife: Mary R. Robinson of Bartow; a daughter: Nita Robinson King & husband Wayne of Lakeland; 3 sons: Junior Robinson & wife Sue & Eugene Robinson & wife Angel all of Bartow; Dwayne Robinson of Lakeland; 4 brothers: Albert Robinson & Ray Robinson both of Winter Haven; Allison Robinson of Fletcher, N.C. & Dean Robinson of Burnsville, N.C; a sister: Avie Tipton of Weaverville, N.C; step daughter: Cindy Powell of Mulberry; 10 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, Feb 26, 10-11 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m at the funeral home.
