Cynthia Aleane Broom Polston

Cynthia Aleane Broom Polston, age 85, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at her home in Eagle Lake, FL., surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 1, 1939 in Cottondale, FL to Alvin & Opal Broom. Cynthia was the owner of The Style Shop and was a Barber Stylist at The Style Shop in Bartow for 40 years. She also volunteered her time at Good Shepherd Hospice cutting hair. She was a member of Eagle Lake First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Stan Broom. Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Emmitt “Luevon” Polston of Eagle Lake, four daughters Rhonda Waters of Eagle Lake, Teresa Pittman & husband Terry of Eagle Lake, Regina Merrick & husband Dale of Hartford, AL and Tonyi Kincheloe & husband Shawn of Lakeland, brother Glenn Broom & wife Sheila of Bartow, sister Sarah Miller of Auburndale, seven grandchildren, Shea Gipson, Chance Gipson, Garrett Pittman & wife Amy, Jillian Bustos & husband Joe, Logan Merrick & wife Traci, Londann Andrews & husband Jeremy and Bennett Kincheloe, twelve great grandchildren Summer, Brayden, Camden, Christian, Ava, Joseph, Noah, Ariah, Eli, Micah, Caris and Canon. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Thursday, December 19, 2024, at First Assembly of God of Eagle Lake, 670 N. Eagle Drive in Eagle Lake, FL. A Celebration of Cynthia's Life will follow at 11:00 am Thursday, December 19, 2024 at First Assembly of God Eagle Lake with Rev. Dr. Terry Pittman officiating.
