Cynthia Carter Walloch

July 30, 1960 — March 20, 2023

Cynthia Marie (Carter) Walloch, 62, of Orlando, FL, went home to be with her Savior on Monday, March 20, 2023. Cynthia (“Cindy”) was born July 30, 1960, the daughter of David Ledger Carter, and wife, Betty Louise (Roberts) Carter, who both grew up in Fort Meade, FL. In her youth, Cynthia’s father served 24 years in the US Marine Corps. Cynthia attended Riverside Elementary in Fort Meade when her father was stationed in Japan, graduated from Evans High School in Orlando, FL, and attended Valencia College. She worked as a pharmacy assistant at a local Apopka drugstore for many years and was much-loved by her customers. Cynthia deeply loved her family, her friends and her pets. In recent years, she was delighted to become a grandmother and especially loved spending time with her grandson, Jameson. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Luther M. Roberts and Carlie R. Roberts; her paternal grandparents, Lloyd Carter and Lillie Carter Holley; her parents, and her brother, Wayne David Carter. She is survived by her former husband, David Walloch and their son, Brian M. Walloch (Taylor); grandson, Jameson Carter Walloch; by her companion, Brian Boyle; her aunt, Wilma Roberts Hendrick; cousins, Donna Faye Cobb, Karen Hendrick Moseley, Jean Roberts Marlatt, Ann Hendrick Wise, Jim Roberts and Susan Hendrick, among others. Visitation is at 10 am and celebration of life service at 11 am on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the First Baptist Church, 307 E. Broadway St, Fort Meade, FL; and graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade. Rev. Kenny Slay officiating. Condolences to family at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com.
