Curtis Paul Temples

Mr. Curtis Paul Temples, Sr., age 47, passed away from heart failure on Oct. 23, 2009. A lifelong resident of Polk County, Mr. Temples was born on Jan. 8, 1962 in Bartow. He was the son of the late Curtis Albert and Reba Jean Temples. Mr. Temples worked for the Polk County Sheriff's Office as a Detention Deputy. Along with his parents, Mr. Temples was preceded in death by his sister Deborah Lynn Hallman. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Kimberly Ann Temples, son Curtis Paul Temples, Jr. of Lakeland, daughter Jennifer Temples of Flower Mound, TX, and sister Marsha Ann Jowers (Thomas) also of Lakeland. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Tues., October 27th at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Oakhill Burial Park in Lakeland.
