Collis Lunsford

Collis Lunsford, age 95, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025. He was born March 3, 1930 in Enterprise, AL to Richard "Sheldon" & Annie Ruth Lunsford, Collis was a Veteran and served in the US Army during the Korean War, where he was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a Mechanic and the Owner/Operator of Bartow Tire Center. Collis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bartow and the American Legion Post #3. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lunsford. Collis is survived by his daughter Brenda Kirkland of Bartow, son Larry Lunsford (Lynn) of Elba, AL, five grandchildren Nikki Newman, Jason Kirkland (Valerie), McLane Cotterill, Sara Feagin Lunsford and Lindsey Mae Lunsford and ten great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
