Clyde L. Brown

Mrs. Clyde L. Brown passed away Saturday July 7, 2007 from pneumonia at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 87. Born on March 29, 1920 in Slocomb, AL she was the daughter of the late Gus and Evie Skinner. To say she was a homemaker and a devout christian would be an understatement. Mrs. Brown's enduring faith in God and love for her family helped her along for many years. Mrs. Brown was a member of Blessed Assurance Temple in Bartow. Her devotion to the Lord and her church served as a great example to the family that she loved and adored. Mrs. Brown is also preceded in death by her husband Mr. Maxwell Brown. She is survived by a loving family that includes three daughters; Carolyn Littrell of Lakeland, Geraldine Kelley of Bartow and Glenda Parker of Sylva, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen grandchildren. All of her family will miss her greatly. Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be held Tuesday July 10, 2007 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Blessed Assurance Temple, 1245 McAdoo Ave. in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the church.
