Clifford E. Eckhardt

Mr. Clifford E. Eckhardt, 89, of Fort Meade, died Sunday, July 12, 2009. Mr. Eckhardt was born March 15, 1920 in Oakland, NJ. He retired from the United States Air Force after over 20 years of faithful service to his country. Mr. Eckhardt moved to Fort Meade from Long Island, NY in 1989. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Fort Meade. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Eckhardt and sister, June Courtnay. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Georgette M. Eckhardt of Fort Meade. Two Daughters, Catherine DiBiasi of Ronkonkoma, NY and Caroleen and her husband Steve Naugles of West Palm Beach, FL. One Son, Clifford C. and his wife Cathy Eckhardt of Fort Meade, FL. Six Grandchildren, Joesph DiBiasi, Michael DiBiasi, Thomas Naugles, Christopher Naugles, Tabitha McEhreath, Eric Phillips and eight Great Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade. Visitation will be Wednesday July 15, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at McLean Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be Thursday July 16, at 10:30AM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Ft. Meade. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
