Christine Spears Shiver

Christine Spears Shiver, age 75, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025. She was born August 21,1950 in Bartow, FL to Emmett & Emma Lee Spears. Christine was a Bank Teller for Wauchula State Bank for 25 years. Before her Banking career, Christine worked at Everett's Flower Shop in Fort Meade. She was a member of New Beginning Church of God In Fort Meade. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, husband William H. Shiver, Sr., brother Howard Emmett Spears and great granddaughter Karleigh Brianne Kirk. She is survived by her son William H. Shiver, Jr., two daughters Lorie Ann Shiver and Hope Leeann Shiver, sister Debbie Scarborough (Joe), two brothers Gary Spears (Jean) and Joe Spears (Tammy). Five grandchildren; Brian Kirk (Amber), Shelby Shiver (Courtney), Emily Shiver, Christa Shiver, Madison Shiver and seven great grandchildren Kennedy Kirk, Karter Kirk, McKinley Kirk, Paxton Shiver, Waylon Turner, Maci Matthews and Wyatt Scott. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at McLean Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
