Chris M. Greer

Chris M. Greer, age 55, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home in Brandon. Born May 25, 1965 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Gary Thomas and Georgia (Myers) Greer. Chris was a plumber by trade most of his working life and had been a member of the Tire Shop and the Front End Team at Costco in in Brandon for the past several years. Chris will be remembered as one of the most genuine and sincere individuals you would know. He was a tower of strength, but always a gentle man that loved his girls, his family and his friends. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 24 years, Darlene (Whitaker) Greer, his daughters: Hailey Greer , Grace Greer, his sister, Carey Ann Tyner (Raymond), his step mother Felicia Greer, his step siblings Michele Albert (Jack), Catherine Schmidt (Kevin), Vinnie Gricoski (Donna) and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20th from 4pm to 6pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. A graveside service will follow on Monday, September 21st at 10:00am at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
