Chasten Fennell Dobson, Jr.

Chasten Fennell Dobson, Jr., age 77, of Fort Meade, FL, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at his Residence in Fort Meade. He was born November 14, 1932 in Richmond, Virginia. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Dobson was a millwright for LTV Steel/Republic Steel. He was a Baptist, an avid NASCAR Fan and Buffalo Bills Fan. Mr. Dobson moved to Fort Meade in 1992 from Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife Florence Dobson (7/20/1991). He is survived by his Two Daughters; Roseann Bieger of Mechanicsville, VA and Donna Shaver & husband Paul of Fort Meade. Sister; Jean Cott of Richmond, VA, Grandson; Jason Bromstead of Aiken, SC and Granddaughter; Halee Shaver of Fort Meade. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
