Charlotte Ann Casey

Bartow - Charlotte Ann Casey, age 92, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at her residence in Bartow. Born March 23, 1930 in Los Angeles, CA, to Harry and Marie Kennard Mechanic, Charlotte had been a resident of Bartow since 1953, moving from Cleveland, OH. Charlotte was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, community and church volunteer. She loved spending time with her family who each have special memories of her that will never fade. Her strength during difficult times she would say was to teach us all that we were strong enough to handle whatever life brought to us. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and always remembered in their hearts. She was a longtime member of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Casey whom she was married to over fifty years, and son-in-law Champ Holland. She was survived by a loving family including two sons: Richard Casey, Bartow and William Casey, Jr.(Ellen), Lakeland; three daughters: Susie Garnett, (Richard), Ft. Worth, TX, Colleen Holland and Maureen Leckie, (Bill), both of Bartow; ten grandsons and ten great grandchildren and nephews; Dan Casey and Mike Casey (Debbie). Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Bartow. Interment will follow at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
