Charlie J. Croy

Charlie J. Croy, 75, of Fort Meade, FL, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Charlie was born December 22, 1934 in Fuston, GA. He moved to Fort Meade in 1954 from Funston, GA. He worked as a welder for the airline industry. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Patsy "Ruth" Croy of Fort Meade. Two Sons; Carlie Joe "CJ" Croy & wife Kim of Irwinton, GA and Mike Croy & wife Caren of Bartow. Two Brothers; Calvin Croy of Fort Meade and Marion B. "Buddy" Croy of Moultrie, GA. Thirteen Grandchildren and Nine Great Grand-children. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL. Memorial service will be at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade, 307 East Broadway at 11:00 am Monday, April 27, 2010.
